Proteomix ion-exchange phases have been innovatively developed for achieving high ion-exchange capacity, a breakthrough technology for non-porous resins. Proteomix packing support is composed of a rigid, spherical, highly cross-linked poly(styrene divinylbenzene) (PS/DVB) non-porous bead with particle size selections of 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 µm. The PS/DVB resin surface is grafted with a highly hydrophilic, neutral polymer thin layer with the thickness in the range of nanometer. The hydrophobic PS/DVB resin surface is totally covered by a hydrophilic coating that eliminates non-specific bindings with biological analytes, leading to high efficiency and high recovery separations for biological molecules.

Zenix™-C SEC phase, developed based on innovative surface coating technology, comprises of uniform, hydrophilic, and neutral nanometer thick film chemically bonded to high purity and mechanically stabilized silica. Zenix™-C, uses lay-down monolayer on porous silica as oppose to Zenix of stand-up monolayer, offers ideal phase chemistry for hydrophobic samples like insulin, membrane protein monoclonal antibodies derivatized with polymer branches (polypeptide or PEG) separation. The 3µm based packing material allows for high resolution and performance separation.

Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns are a methacrylate based phase with quaternary ammonium functional groups, optimized for use with both suppressed and non-suppressed conductivity detection. Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns are compatible with common IC mobile phases, such as carbonate, bicarbonate, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, phthalic acid, succinic acid and sodium octane sulfonate. Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns are recommended for applications involving inorganic anions, weak and strong acid ions, metal complexes and organic acids. These columns meet the requirements for the EPA method 300.0 Part A for determining inorganic ions in water. Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns are 7 µm polymer based anion exchange phase used with suppressed or non-suppressed conductivity detection. Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns has a pH range of 2 - 10. Avantor Allsep Anion HPLC columns can be used with 0 - 100% organic modifier.

Avantor ACE Excel UHPLC and HPLC columns are avaialble in 1.7, 2, 3, and 5 µm particle sizes in all analytical column sizes. Utilizing highest purity and enhanced mechanical stability silica and pure bonding reagents, BR-C18 bonded phases have been innovatively and specially designed to ensure maximum surface coverage and full end-capping, which leads to carbon content as high as 19.0%. The bonding chemistry is completely controlled that results in very reliable column-to-column reproducibility. The maximum surface coverage allows BR-C18 to have exceptional stability, resulting in high pH stability in the range of 1.5 to 10.5.

Proteomix HIC columns are specially designed for high resolution and high efficiency separations of proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), oligonucleotides and peptides via a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) mechanism. Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, Proteomix HIC-NP resin is made of non-porous polystyrenedivinylbenzene (PS/DVB) beads with narrow-dispersed particle size distribution. As shown in figure below, the PS/DVB bead is modified with alkyl groups or aryl groups that provide hydrophobic interaction with analytes. Proteomix HIC-NP resin is highly rigid and mechanically stable. In comparison to silica-based HIC phase media, Proteomix HIC-NP phases have advantages for biomolecule separations with a wide pH range (2-12) and high chemical stability.
